Subject: Re: NGO's involved in NIS textbook revision
CIDA has a project in Russia which produced a new civics text book for
Russian high school students. It had a successful pilot at 6 schools in
Moscow. I understand a UN agency has now published thousands of these. It
may contain less history and more theory of civics. I don't know. For more
info contact CIDA at 819 997-5456 and ask after October 12 for Vaughn Lantz.
Or phone me at 819 994-1739 if that fails..
