UNDP Seeks Trainers with CEE/NIS Experience
*****************************************************************
The regional Directorate for Europe and CIS, United Nations
Development Programme, is seeking applicants for a Regional
Training Programme. The Programme is entitled "National Capacity
Building for External Resources Management."
The programme aims at the strengthening the capacity of republics
in the NIS and Central and Eastern Europe for external resources
management by providing an integrated, cost-effective and
regionally integrated approach to the economic and managerial
training of relevant officials, national consultants and local
trainers.
At the end of this year, for a start-up in 1996, an international
team of trainers will be established to implement the training
programme in the participating countries. The Regional Director-
ate is seeking trainers with experience in Central/Eastern Europe
and NIS who can offer training in the fields of national and
sectoral development planning, debt management, project manage-
ment, management of international resources, co-operation with
international donor agencies, and training/counselling methods.
Trainers should have a good command of English and are requested
to send a curriculum vitae and a short description of the
training courses implemented so far. A knowledge of Russian
would be extremely useful.
