The Fund for Democracy and Development, a U.S.
not-for-profit organization, is seeking candidates for
a long-term director and short-term instructors for its
banker training program. The director will manage the
Fund's Moscow-based Russian commercial banker training and
technical assistance program. Instructors will lead seminars
and help develop training materials.
Candidates for all of the positions should have commercial
bank lending and professional training experience. Small
business experience and proficiency in Russian would be
highly desirable.

The Fund for Democracy and Development, a not-for-profit
organization, was founded in 1991 by leaders of the U.S. public
and private sectors. The Fund's purpose is to aid the
economic and political transformation of the Newly Independent
States of the former Soviet Union to democratic market economies.
It is currently active in four areas: humanitarian assistance,
support for the development of the private sector, aiding the
evolution of civil societies and the analysis of U.S. policy
towards the NIS.
The Fund is headquartered in Washington, DC and has
offices in Moscow and Novosibirsk, Russia; Yerevan, Armenia
and Tbilisi, Georgia. Operations are supported by private
sector donations and government contracts.
