ACTR is seeking applicants for ACTR's Curriculum Consultant Exchange
Program for Teachers of English in the NIS
The American Council for Teachers of Russian (ACTR) welcomes applications
from teachers of ESL to participate in this established, university-level,
academic year-long exchange program in the NIS. Participants will serve
as visiting faculty at the English language depts. of universities in
Moscow, St. Pete, and other major NIS cities. Russian language
knowledge/previous NIS experience strongly preferred. Funding for this
program is provided by ACTR and USIA and covers the cost of domestic
airfare to Wash., DC, for orientation, international airfare from DC,
orientation, room and board, a monthly maintenance stipend, a materials
stipend, and emergency med. insurance during the exchange.
Applicants must be US citizens to be considered for selection.
Applications must be received at ACTR by March 31, 1995.
