The producers of the new BBC Radio Series "Local Democracy" which
is being made with Radio Russia and will be broadcast on their
airwaves from September 1995, ask the help of GlasNet users.
Please let us know if you have any interesing initiatives in your
town, city, region or village in the following categories: local
self-help, legal rights reform, health, science and culture,
ecology, town planning and infrastructure reform, social safety
net or formulation of local budgets. We also want to hear from
existing independent organisations involved in civil society or if
your commercial organisations are looking at ways of cooperation
with local authorities for mutual benefit. Please contact us at
BBCMPM@GLAS.APC.ORG and we may very well include your
informationin our new broadcast. We look forward to hearing your
ideas and suggestions.
