Subject: Environmental Programs Director
Citizen Exchange Council, Inc. seeks a full time Director of
Environmental Programs to design, fund and manage environmental
projects between the United States and Russia. Excellent scope for an
individual with drive and vision. The position is located in N.Y.C.
Responsibilities
The Director manages several currently funded international
education, training and technical assisance projects involving
students, teachers, scientists and public officials. Developing
ongoing funding base for further projects is critical.
Qualifications
Professional knowledge of environmental protection, environmental
education, environmental science and technology. Minimum of three
years' work experience with skills in team management. Track record
in program development and proposal-writing. International experience
or perspective.
Russian language, culture, politics, economics and social issues;
government liaison and networking track-record; strong communications
and computer skills are desirable.
