The following are resources provided to help in locating people and organizations in the countries of the former Soviet Union, in the Baltics, and in Eastern and Central Europe, and those in other parts of the world interested or actively working in these areas.

We hope that these resources are a first step towards providing a comprehensive, searchable "who's who" database. Please let us know of other resources that would be useful here.

    A resource based at Pereslavl-Zalessky, Russia allowing users to search for people providing some of the information on their email addresses, names, addresses and/or organizations. Each user of this service automatically adds his/her address to the database. Service is currently limited to 10k of information per user. Information on searching is provided on their Query Language page.

    A "dynamic news, telephone contact & directory service for the former Soviet Union."

  • Moscow Business Telephone Guide *

    Updated 10 times per year, this extensive directory provides current contact information for all active businesses in Moscow. The businesses are listed in both English and Russian.

  • New Independent States' Embassies

    Get the addresses, phone and fax numbers (email too, if applicable) of the embassies located in Washington, DC and New York City.
