Computer system administrator and chief operations officer. Department supports over 2000 users per term on over 170 UNIX workstations 30+ Macintosh and PC computers. The printers and networking equipment for this network are spread over 4 sub-nets and 4 buildings. Responsible for WWW scripting for department. Coordinate operations work of 3 part-time students. Operations work includes resolving user problems, fixing hardware and software problems, system upgrades and system backups. Wrote scripts in Perl, C, Bourne shell.

Project FLAME stands for "Foreign Language Applications in the Multimedia Environment." Developing learning application for students of Business Russian from a video shot it Moscow.

While studying at the Moscow Aviation Institute, worked as assistant to the director. Established job number system which organized internal flow of work and billing through agency. Helped open satellite office in St. Petersburg, as well as register main office as representative office of McCann Erickson International.

MAY 1993 - AUGUST 1993 BABCOCK & WILCOX COMMONWEALTH SERVICES CO.
Summer co-op engineer. Conducted non-destructive examinations and conducted acoustic leak detection system on several industrial boilers. Conducted testing to help utilities come into compliance with the Clean Air Act. Attended B&W seminar on boiler condition assesment. Coordinated visiting Russian engineer's stay in America.

Office manager for department of humanitarian aid. Coordinated logistics for groups of food monitors traveling throughout the CIS, translated, interpreted, made inspection trips.
