Wherever there is love, there is peace. - Burmese proverb
Life

[America,] it is the only place where miracles not only happen, but where they happen all the time. - Thomas Wolfe

One of the primary motivations of Friends and Partners is to help better understand how we live, work, and play. We invite visitors here to describe "day to day" life in their country.

Friends and Partners received a grant from the Ford Foundation in 1998 to develop Civic Networks in the three Russian communities of Chelyabinsk, Sergeiv Posad, and Samara. As of March 23, 1999, all three are now operational. Please read more about this project at the CIVnet-Russia WWW Site. We welcome your participation!
