Rostov-On-Don

Located in European Russia, this city of over 1.5 million is considered a political, economic and cultural center of southern Russia. The Black Sea, the Azov and the Caspian are all easily accessible from the "Gates to the Caucasus". Although the history of this area dates back many centuries, the current city is said to have been founded in 1749.

We hope this list will continue to grow as more communities become represented on the World Wide Web so please be sure to let us know if you are aware of any other sites.

Slavyanka . .

We are glad that Deanne Merrill and Donn Davy continue to share with us some of their Russian liturgical and folk music on the Slavyanka Men's Slavic Chorus site on F&P. Drop in and listen to their music; learn more about their Chorus (from the San Francisco Bay area) and join their mailing list.
