Protvino

The following is a list of sites describing the small town of Protvino, 100 km (or 60 miles) south of Moscow on the Protva River. This relatively new town was developed as a scientific center in 1960 and houses The Institute for High Energy Physics.

    Project Harmony

     

     

    Make sure to visit the Project Harmony web site. This is one of the best organizations involved in US, Russian exchange - and they've been at it for a long time (since the days when US and Russian exchange was limited mainly to music and performing arts). Colleen Halley does a super job with their site (and with the Internet School Linkages Program).
