  • Russian and East European Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign *

    Founded in 1959, this center offers undergraduate major and minor degree programs as well as a MA program. In addition, they provide resources for teachers of K-12 and higher education, the business community and to the general public.

  • Russian at Vanderbilt *

    This undergraduate program at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee provides students to study all aspects of Russian culture and language plus the opportunity to spend a semester or a summer in Russia.

  • University of Oregon Department of Russian *

    Located in Eugene, this department is also involved in in the undergraduate and postgraduate area of Russian studies and in several areas of research.

  • Hokkaido University Slavic Research Center *

    Financed by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Culture in Japan and as the country's only research institute for the study of the Slavic countries, this center is divided into the three areas of research, information and administration. Their site has a large amount of interesting information, including papers from conferences in symposiums, and is available in Japanese, English and some Russian.

    As George Washington University's professional school of international affairs in Washington, DC, exceptional men and women are educated "in theory and practice of international affairs". It maintains institute and research centers, including the Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (IERES).

  • The Russian Web at Marist *

    This college is located in Marist Country, in the Hudson Valley region of New York, USA and in addition to information on their program, they offer resources for several educational publications and The "Business Russian" Certificate Program which is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation.

  • Carleton College Russian Department *

    Located in Northfield, Minnesota, this college provides a variety of courses available plus information on their Russian Club and House and other valuable resources.

  • CREES at Stanford University *

    The Center for Russian and East European Studies website provides information on their many different programs and libraries (including The Hoover Institution). It is one of the 15 National Resource Centers appointed by U.S. Department of Education.

  • Indiana University Institute for the Study of Russian Education *

    Established in 1989 in response to the rapid changes occurring in education in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, it was formerly known as the Institute for the Study of Soviet Education, or ISSE. Among their many activities is the collection and dissemination of information about education in Russia and the NIS.
