REGISTRATION FORM
TENTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE ALLIANCE OF UNIVERSITIES FOR DEMOCRACY
BUDAPEST, HUNGARY / 7-10 NOVEMBER 1999

There are five categories of Registration/Conference Fees. All Conference and lodging reservations are to be made through the AUDEM Business Office at the address below.

1. Delegates from the United States or Western Europe:

The Registration Fee for this category is US $495 if received before October 8 (late fee is $545). Fee includes all meals from supper Nov. 7 through lunch Nov. 10, Conference materials, Group Excursion and banquet. Fee does NOT include lodging. Lodging at the Hotel Flamenco is US $95 (single/night) and US $115 (double/night). Acceptable charge cards for accomodation are Eurocard, Mastercard, and Visa. Lodging reservations are to be made through the AUDEM Business Office by entering Arrival and Departure Dates on the Registration Form. Additional nights are available at above rates. Advance room deposit is not required.

2. Delegates from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE):

The Registration Fee for this category is US $275. This fee includes all meals from supper 7 November through lunch 10 November, Conference materials, Group Excursion and banquet. The fee includes single occupancy lodging for nights 7, 8, and 9 November. Lodging reservation is based on Arrival and Departure Dates on the Registration Form. A special lodging rate is available on request if additional nights lodging are required.

3. Central and East Europe (CEE) Partially Subsidized Delegates:

The Registration Fee for this category is US $110. This rate includes all meals and lodging, and is available to at least one person from each AUDEM Member University. [Certain institutions will be allocated additional Subsidized Delegates. The Contact Person will be informed of this in mid-September.] The AUDEM Contact Person at each Member University will coordinate selection of delegates authorized for the Subsidized rate in consultation with the Office of the Rector. The name of the Contact Person at each AUDEM Member University may be obtained from the AUDEM Business Office. Includes meals from supper 7 November to lunch 10 November, Conference materials, Group Excursion and banquet. Also includes lodging (possible double occupancy) for 7, 8, and 9 November. Not included are telephone or room service charges. Enter Arrival and Departure Dates on Form. Additional nights of lodging are possible to accommodate travel schedules on arrival and/or departure.

4. CEE Fully Subsidized Delegates:

A limited number of Full Registration/Conference Subsidies are available through the AUDEM Business Office to authorized delegates from CEE Member Universities with particular hardship.

5. Spouses Program:

The Registration Fee for this category is US $275. Includes meals from supper Nov. 7 through lunch on Nov. 10, Spouse Excursion transporation and the Group Excursion and banquet.

To register for the 1999 Conference, either complete the registration form that follows and submit it online or print out the form, complete it and send it via fax or mail to the AUDEM Business Office at the address at the end of this page. Persons in Categories 3 and 4 are requested to coordinate Conference Registration with the AUDEM Contact Person at their university prior to submitting a completed Registration Form.
