  • C I P A ' 9 9 Citizens and Public Administration in the Information Age *

    C I P A ' 9 9 will be held in the University of Tampere, Tampere, Finland (18-20 August, 1999) The purpose of this conference is to discuss, in a multinational and multidisciplinary context, the role of citizens and public administration in the emerging information society.

  • Engaging Regionalism: Community Networking - Networking Communities Conference *

    This conference (29 September - 1 October, 1999) is the fourth in a series organised by Community Information Victoria association with Australian Community Networking Alliance, Vicnet and other not-for-profit organisations. The 1999 Conference "Engaging Regionalism" will be held at Ballarat University. The conference will provide an opportunity for people interested in low-cost electronic networking in Australia, New Zealand, and other countries to focus on the importance of location and region in online networking.

  • WWW9 - 9th International World Wide Web Conference *

    This was held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands from May 15-19, 2000. The proceedings from the 8th meeting is also available.
