Construction Weekend



8:00 a.m. -- Small crews will work with Designer to complete the following:

Crew #1: Place border railroad ties/beams in around designated areas as per overview (see "Central Supply..." sheet for installation information)

Crew #2: Dig trenches and install tiresfor structures #7 (Speed Bump) and #13 (Tire Trail Segments); backhoe with 18" bucket needed; ball-field line marker needed to set trail lines to be dug.

Crew #3: Position secure large 5'-7' tires for structures #3 (Tire Mt./Tunnel) and #11 (Vertical Rope Launch); backhoe needed to move tires. Attach chain between pine trees for structure #11 (2 places); bucket truck needed.

Crew #4: Install 3 layer ground covera fter crews 1, 2 and 3 complete their work; Backhoe(s) and Bobcat(s) needed. Members of Crews 1, 2 and 3 could be recruited to work with this crew.

Crew #5: Deck all levels of structure #1(Fort). Framing for decking has been completed before this day.

Crew #6:

Get some sleep, you'll need it for "Super Saturday"!


6:00 - 7:00 a.m. -- All generators (power source) are set; electrical cords attached; special tools and large equipment ready; breakfast prepared.

7:00 a.m. -- Crews & community support personnel begin construction; the designer runs around crazy advising everyone at once; we have a great day!

5:00 p.m. -- Designer evaluates points of completion and determines time line for needed completion ofg iven structures on Sunday. A "Completion Crew" is formed to carry out final tasks Sunday.

Later -- If there is enough energy -- a "celebration party" !!


8:00 a.m. (or so) --- Arrival of "Completion Crew" to put finishing touches on Playscape:
