An Avondale Teen Center
Location: Intersection of Crestwood Boulevard and 4th Avenue South
Goals & Objectives:
The purpose of developing this under-utilized plot of land is to create a place where the teenage population can gather and enjoy recreation and social activities. This new space is a place the Avondale teenage population could associate with--and even call their own--however, the space is not entirely isolated from the surrounding community.
Suggestions:
Possible indoor facilities might include but not be limited to:
- pool tables
- air hockey
- video games
- a dance floor
- TV/VCR with viewing furniture.
Possible outdoor facilities might include:
- a skateboard park
- skate rentals
- social Interaction
