Munchies and the Avondale Laundromat

Location: Northeast Corner of 41st Street and 5th Avenue South

Goals and Objectives:

To eliminate crime and commercial uses not beneficial to the well-being of the park area.

Suggestions:

• Move existing gas pumps two blocks north on 41st Street to old gas station.
• Change paved ground to brick.
• Introduce benches oriented toward the park.
• Landscape the periphery of the site, keeping middle open and visible.
• Proposed parking eliminates hit and run.
