Dear Wayne:

(1) Albeit very belated, many thanks for your msg (ATTACHMENT I
).

I read the following paper with great interest;

Jean-Francois Rischard
ÒNew Global Agenda
Ó
Progress Politics, Vol 2.2

Dear Leslaw:

(2) As mentioned in the Reference (a) above, your suggestion of making our Globally Distributed Socio-Economic-Environmental Simulation System (GDSEESS) as a Global Early Warning System (GEWS) is becoming very legitimate and vital necessity — the GEWS was initially proposed by Mr. Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister of the U.K. At the G20 conference in London in the last April.

Software: Microsoft Office

(3) We may firstly install Prof. OnishiÕs FUGI world economic model (Reference (b)) in a cloud computer (e.g., IBMÕs, etc.), which has almost 200 countries and UN sub-regions.

Each countryÕs sub-model will then be replaced with the one refined by our colleagues in those countries — Prof. Onishi has already agreed for this direction.

Example is the national energy economy system dynamic simulation models of 15 member countries of the Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS), which have now being constructed by the Millennium Institute as mentioned in the Reference (c) above.

(4) I think that, the GDSEESS will not only prepare for international conflict resolutions (Reference (a) above), but also will accommodate Jean-Francois RischardÕs proposed agendas — subsequently, pls read through his articles mentioned above.

Best, Tak

Also I found this material on "Global Issues Networks" and though I
had not heard the concept before - it certainly relates to GLOSAS:
