Dear Prof. Onishi:

(1) Many thanks for your msg (ATTACHMENT I
) with a new and excellent article — Reference (a) and (b) above.

Dear E-Colleagues:

(2) I would strongly suggest that you should read, at least, its very interesting and inspiring conclusion of Reference (a).

Dear Prof. Onishi:
I thank you for your listing of me among world renowned, prominent scholars in your Acknowledgement section.

Dear Andrea:

(3) Although you are in charge of integrating various country models, I would like to suggest that this Prof. OnishiÕs FUGI model is to be the basis of our Globally Distributed Socio-Economic-Environmental Simulation System (GDSEESS), since it has more than 200 countries and regions.

Dear Andrea and Peter:

(4) Pls note the following sentence in the ABSTRACT of Reference (a) above;

ÒEach national/regional model has nine subsystems as population, foods, energy, environment, economic development, peace & security, human right, healthcare and quality of life (IT revolution).Ó

I hope that you would include similar subsystems in your Nigeria model, particularly when it develops to have the sub-models for each state government in the Niger Delta regions — I think that there are about 12 states there.

Dear Peter:
I am anxiously waiting to receive your msg about your activities (*) after having going back to your home Nigeria around the beginning of this July from Seoul Korea — with your new baby!!

(*) (06/25/09)  (1) Report on the preliminary planning workshop to create GUS/Nigeria and (2) Concept paper of Niger Delta Renaissance project

Dear Leslaw:

(5) Pls note that Prof. OnishiÕs article mentions of the Global Early Warning System (GEWS).

As basing on his FUGI model, our Globally Distributed Socio-Economic-Environmental Simulation System (GDSEESS) could well become the GEWS.

BTW, I strongly suggest that you would create GDSEESS/Poland with GUS/Poland — as an important part of GEWS.  If so, pls let me know so that I can suggest several potential candidates who would be able to assist you on this regard — e.g., Polish-Japanese Inst. of Info Tech which was established with the Japanese governmentÕs fund, etc.

Dear Dr. Kumasaka:

(6) Many, many thanks for your msg of this morning — while commuting between New York City and Tokyo almost every month!!

I would be very delight to have a lunch with you at the lobby of the Quarter Club, 40 West 45th Street (tel at the front desk: 212-626-9222) -- the lobby is located just behind the front desk.  Pls inform me any date of your convenience before you leave back to Tokyo again.  We can meet there around 12:00 noon.

You, Prof. Onishi and me are alumni of Tokyo Institute of Technology, so that letÕs talk how we can work together to contribute to the JapanÕs future — particularly with your doctoral background of economics at the Wharton School of the Univ. of PA.

Looking forward to seeing you soon,

Best, Tak
