Dear Walter:
(1) It was my great pleasure to have met with you and your wife at Polytechnic
Institute of New York University last Thursday (8/21/08).
Albeit a very brief moment, it was a very fruitful mtg.
Dear Harold and
Carl:
Thank you also for your
valuable time.

This
is the closing chapter of the above book — BTW, read the very last page
of this paper which tells real stories how important to have close friendships
among people of various countries while they are young, for global peace.
(4) I am very happy to know that you want to make GCEPG/GSEEED projects as your
first priority on the creation of the Center for Conflict Prevention, Management
and Resolution on Environmental Issues in Niger Delta Region of Nigeria, as
mentioned in the Reference (a) above.
I think that this will go along nicely with the Two Tier System of the
GCEPG/GSEEED projects;
As said to you at our mtg, we need to prepare young people in the age of 10s to
20s for their time when they will encountered with severe, fierce conflicts on
various environmental issues in the year of 2050s.
Also, if you construct the socio-economic-energy-environment development
(SEEED) models of various states in Niger Delta Region, it would help the
policy analysis and recommendation for your local civil servants and
politicians. With this regard, you may also take a look on COMPRAM (COMplex PRoblem hAndling Method);

Dear
WS:
BTW, Walter is an economist,
but quite familiar with Systems Dynamics (SD) modeling. If you have a
Nigerian SD energy model, pls let him/me know.
(6) I also greatly appreciated to
hear of your strong willingness to conduct the followings;
(a) My fact-finding
and assessment trip to Niger Delta region to visit a few higher educational and
healthcare institutions in each state of Niger Region,
(b) About six month afterward, to hold a large workshop at which time formal
establishments and implementations of GCEPG/GSEEED projects and GUS project in
Niger Delta Region will be discussed and made.
This
is to be in the second quarter of 2009.
(7) Pls also schedule to have discussions how to implement PeterÕs following
projects;
(a) Statewide
broadband wireless Internet,
(b) Operator/Trainer center for petroleum refinery and petrochemical plants

(9) As mentioned to you at our mtg, pls send me the first draft of your concept
paper of this project at your earliest convenience so that we can work on it
together.
Dear Carl:
Pls send me your write-up on how our projects can be incorporated into your
newly establishing center for simulation (whatever you would name it) at your
earliest convenience.
This is because Walter would include its excerpts into his concept paper for
fund raising.
Thanks in advance.
Dear Marc:
(10) I left my msg to your answering phone prior to this mtg, but vain.
Anyway, I hoped you might be interested in working together with WalterÕs
group, since his Niger Delta Region is very much similar to your previous
projects, and very important from the US national interest viewpoint since the
region produces considerable amount of oil, 40% of which comes to the US.
Dear Peter and Walter:
(11) I wish you a very good luck to your fund raising, as the first step of
this very important and exciting project.
Best, Tak
