Subject: INK
& EU Health Project
Dear
Professor Utsumi,
Just for your information, INK are already involved in one successful EU STREP
project. The Description of Work is attached. Sorry I don't have an exec
summary but in essence it is a health project for elderly people living
independently in Bolgna. They have bio-sensors attached to them which
communicate to the INK computer and via that to a central system for monitoring
their health. The INK computer is also used to help build up a social support
network for them. Interface devices, GUI's etc are all be designed. INK was
involved, as a Canadian company, as there is no EU company producing low cost
laptops of this kind, that would allow the project to be scaleable to the
extent that the authorities are looking for.
No reaction from Turkey then?
Regards,
Jonathan Renaudon-Smith
