Conference: Distance Education in Developing Countries
Hello,
Attached please find a PDF flyer for the Third Annual LINC (Learning
International Networks Consortium) Symposium which will take place at MIT in
Cambridge, Massachusetts on October 27th and 28th, 2005. We are all very
excited about how this symposium is developing, as we work to design a program
that will build on the topics and themes of the first two conferences.
Our goal is to develop a two-day workshop that presents innovative
ideas and strategies for professionals working in the field of distance
education and e-learning in developing countries. We certainly hope to see you
all at MIT in October.
Here is what we have planned so far:
§ UPDATES ON COUNTRY-SPECIFIC AND REGIONAL VIRTUAL UNIVERSITIES
§ DISTANCE LEARNING TO ALLEVIATE POVERTY AND SUPPORT SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
§ MIT OPENCOURSEWARE IN USE AROUND THE WORLD
§ UNIVERSITY RESEARCH AFFECTING DISTANCE LEARNING
§ REPORTS FROM E-LEARNING EVALUATORS
§ FOUNDATION AND NGO INTEREST IN DISTANCE LEARNING
